All high school students from Bath to Boothbay are encouraged to apply for the Voice of Democracy Scholarship. Our post is offering a $500 1st place scholarship, $250 2nd place scholarship, and a 3rd place scholarship of $50. The first place winners will be eligible to compete at the District level for a $300 scholarship and the chance to compete at the State level where they could earn a $1750 1st place scholarship, $500 2nd place scholarship, or the 3rd place scholarship of $250. The first place winner at the state level will also receive the opportunity to compete at the national level.
All middle school students from Bath to Boothbay are encouraged to apply for the Patriot's Pen Scholarship. Our post is offering a $200 1st place scholarship, $100 2nd place scholarship, and a 3rd place scholarship of $50. The first place winners will be eligible to compete at the District level for a $150 scholarship and the chance to compete at the State level where they could earn a $500 1st place scholarship, $250 2nd place scholarship, or the 3rd place scholarship of $100. The first place winner at the state level will also receive the opportunity to compete at the national level. All applications must be received by 31 October 2024.
